Affordable Language Services and Fusion Talent are nationally recognized translation, interpreting and talent service providers. Our business and passion is providing communication solutions for customers who need in-person interpreting, written translation, American Sign Language and effective Staffing Solutions.

To accelerate our growth, we’re seeking a Recruiter to manage the critical touch points of our recruiting process. This role serves as the point of contact for all requests and inquiries from prospective candidates until they become contracted partners. Ideal candidates will possess a high attention to detail and the ability to move back and forth between multiple candidates as they progress from first interview to orientation.  Success will be achieved with proven critical thinking and communication skills in all areas of data analytics and operations. 

Key Performance Indicators:

  • 150 Reaches per day
  • 10 Interviews Per week
  • 5 viable submissions/oral evaluations
  • Update job postings for assigned jobs.

Essential Duties:

  • Work with assigned clients to understand job skills and position needs
  • Manage application process pipeline through Newton
  • Manage inactive candidates in Newton
  • Facilitate candidate testing and assignment requirements to insure qualifications are met before activation/placement
  • Actively source new candidates through multiple recruiting channels – job boards, social media platforms, community events, networking, flyer drops, and recruiting events
  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings
  • Take ownership of candidate experience
  • Facilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiating employment terms
  • Partner with Sales and Operations to forecast future applicant needs by skill
  • Manage daily and weekly activity reports related to recruitment efforts by skills / job openings
  • Actively maintain a referral bonus database to ensure timely payment to those who refer viable candidates
  • Prepare documentation and/or records for annual audits
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred
  • 2 years of Recruiting experience
  • Technical aptitude – Microsoft Office, interpreter software platforms, phone, etc.
  • Proven experience in communicating with a variety of groups at different levels
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to customers and attend trade shows
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and ability to understand relationships within workflows, steps/status, and how to explain it to others
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
  • Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods

This position is responsible for greeting customers, contractors and applicants as they come in to the office, call or submit email inquiries. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to create an exceptional first impression and provide on-going Customer 1st service. Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills are required to deal with a large number of concurrent activities. Success is measured by answering calls within the first ring, delivering timely and accurate communications and completion of assigned tasks in a timely, accurate and professional manner. If you’re driven by making a difference in other’s lives and knowing their quality of life could be improved by your efforts this is the role for you.

  • Manage effective and timely communications with interpreters and clients – such as: regular status reports of confirmed, cancelled and outstanding appointments
  • Keep all assignment and/or client-related information strictly confidential
  • Field questions and feedback from clients/vendors; relay information to management and other team members to continually improve personal and team performance
  • Customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Provide analytics that improve the performance of the team
  • Assist in scheduling resources to open appointments
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years in customer-facing role
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Possess a consultative nature – ability to influence others to maximize client satisfaction
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices is required
  • Attention to detail and accuracy; ability to maintain confidential information
  • Ability to communicate effectively across cultures and in a variety of customer facing situations
  • Technical aptitude, familiarity in effective simultaneous use of multiple telecommunication systems

This position is responsible for maintaining long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with assigned clients and interpreters.

 

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to creatively maneuver simultaneous care requests across multiple channels including phone, email, scheduling software, and mass texting platforms. Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills are required to work with a large number of concurrent activities. Success is measured by filling all appointments with the most qualified interpreters to help alleviate the natural uncertainty and anxiety that comes with approaching an important life event in a foreign language. If you’re driven by making a difference in other’s lives and knowing their quality of life could be improved by your efforts this is the role for you.  This is a part time role working 25-27 hours per week.  The hours will be M-F, either 8am-1pm or 1pm-6pm.

 

Essential Duties

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with all assigned clients and interpreters
  • Take incoming customer requests (via telephone, email, scheduling software)
  • Ensure appointment details are accurately logged into the scheduling system as required by ALS standards
  • Implement, confirm, and monitor appropriate level of interpreter for all assigned appointments
  • Provide creative solutions to fill all assigned appointments with the appropriate level of interpreter
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts (cancellations, overlaps, rescheduled appointments) notifying both the interpreter and the customer timely
  • Analyze scheduling trends and interpreter feedback to maximize coverage and successfully fill all assigned appointments
  • Manage effective and timely communications with interpreters and clients – such as: scheduling interpreters, regular status reports of confirmed and outstanding appointments
  • Keep all assignment and/or client-related information strictly confidential
  • Field questions and feedback from clients/vendors; relay information to management and other team members to continually improve personal and team performance
  • Collaborate with Interpreter Recruiting to identify future interpreter headcount needs based on appointment requests and forecasts
  • Customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Relationship management and engagement with active interpreters

Qualifications

  • College degree desired but not required
  • At least 2 years in customer-facing role
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy; ability to maintain confidential information
  • Ability to communicate effectively across cultures and in a variety of customer facing situations
  • Technical aptitude, familiarity in effective simultaneous use of multiple telecommunication systems
  • Creative thinker who takes the initiative to get tasks completed
  • Possess a consultative nature — ability to influence others to maximize client satisfaction
  • Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Established foundation of medical terminology helpful but not required (medical scheduler, nurse’s assistant, etc.)
